Centenary Fall Picnic/Parsonage Open House – Sept. 12

Come join us for the annual Fall Picnic at CUMC, following service on Sunday, Sept. 12. The picnic will be held on Centenary’s front lawn, and will include hamburgers, hot dogs and other food off the barbecue. Please bring a salad or dessert to share – all other foods and paper goods will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!

Also on Sept. 12, there will be an Open House at the parsonage (196 Grove Avenue) from 1:00-4:00 p.m, hosted by Rev. Jisun Kwak. Pastor Kwak is inviting everyone to visit the parsonage, and view the work that was completed in the parsonage make-over project.

Delaware Raritan Canal Bike Ride – Sept. 18

A bike ride of a portion of the Delaware Raritan Canal will take place on Saturday, Sept. 18, beginning at 8:00 a.m. The ride will be approximately 12 miles and will last approximately three hours (Colonial Park to Griggstown). The meeting point will be at the parking lot of the Arboretum at Colonial Park, West Millstone, NJ. Please be there by 7:45 a.m. to start the ride at 8:00 a.m. sharp. All you will need is a mountain bike or “comfort” bike (thin tires will not work), and water, snacks, etc. For more information contact Philip Valentine at philipval@hotmail.com
