Dear Centenary Church Family:
Grace and Peace to you on this Ascension Day, May 1, marking the end of the forty days following Easter when our Risen Lord appeared to his disciples and then ascended to be with God. We will observe this special day this Sunday, May 4, 2008, as we gather for our 10:15 AM Worship service on the Seventh (and final) Sunday of Easter / Ascension Sunday. I will share a special word with the children, after which those in Pre-K through 12th-grade youth will be invited to participate in Sunday School classes.

Dear Centenary Church Family:
The Easter Season continues as we gather this Sunday at 10:15 AM to Worship and praise God in song, Word and prayer. I will share a special word with the children, after which those from Pre-K through 12th-grade youth will be invited to participate in Sunday School classes. My morning Message, “I Will Not Leave You Orphaned,” is drawn from the words Jesus shared with his disciples at their final meal, as recorded in John 14:14-21. We will also hear the reading from the Pastoral Epistle: 1 Peter 3:13-22.

Sunday, April 20, 2008 – The Fifth Sunday of Easter / Women’s Sunday
Dear Centenary Church Family:
The women of Centenary, working together via phone and e-mail with Assistant Pastor Terrilisa Bauknight, have planned a very special Women’s Sunday service of Worship for us at 10:15 AM on this Fifth Sunday of Easter. Giselle Esquivel Cordero will lead us into the Call to Worship and Prayer of Confession. Cathy Jean Savoia will invite us to share in our weekly barrel offering, and than bring a special word to the children, after which Pre-K children through 12th grade youth will be invited to participate in Sunday School classes.
