The deadline for collecting these items will be Sunday, December 7.

Scott, Jr., Raritan Valley District Superintendent, has announced that the 2008 Church Conference of Centenary United Methodist Church will be held on Sunday, November 16 at 6:30 PM at Centenary. You are encouraged to attend this annual conference of our church.

Prayer for the week of November 9: Holy God, our days and times are in your hands. Help us to set aside our fears—of the unknown, of what we can’t control, of death itself—to walk in faith and trust with you. We ask for the courage to live boldly, for the grace to forgive ourselves and others, for the audacity to pray, believing that you hear and answer us. Give us a spirit of expectancy, of watching for your presence in our lives and in the world and responding to it with faith, hope and love. For the sake of your Son, our Savior and Friend, Jesus Christ. Amen.

I look forward to sharing with you in study, Worship and Christian Fellowship this Sunday morning at Centenary.

Shalom, John
